I have been doing some reading up on another “out there” recovery tool. I’ved tried it, although not “in the trenches” of an active relapse. So far experimenting on self stress and fatigue, I’ve had some positive results. It may be having some kind of placebo affect on me , but I don’t care as long as it works. Give it a try! It’s the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), otherwise known as Tapping, which combines Western psychotherapy with the Eastern “acupressure points” used in acupuncture.
• EFT Tapping, or Tapping, is easy, requires no equipment, and can be done anywhere for any amount of time.
• Tapping has no side effects, and can be practiced on your own at zero cost.

I’ve done some research and found this is the best concise video on the physical aspects of the practice. The mental aspect will vary for the problem you are addressing.

It may prove to be an additional tool to use for suppressing cravings when attempting to better one’s self through dieting or quitting a bad habit (I’m thinking of smoking in my case).
