A little over two years ago I wrote this post about Oxycontin based on an article from the London Free Press. At the time, I missed the fact that this was the London of Ontario, Canada instead of the UK. It was embarassing, but I’ll get over it. I had originally posted a correction at the top but decided to go ahead and fix the story after admitting I had egg on my face. Embarassing yes, but as an alcoholic I can almost always assure you no matter how badly I flub things sober that it will never hold a candle to the idiotic exploits of my drinking days.
I would have published the comment of the guy that pointed out my mistake, but he did it so smugly that I felt his comment didn’t pass muster either. Posting every night without an editor or proofreader, I’m working without a net here and sometimes half asleep when I pull the trigger on a post from the first draft… so if I happen to fall off the deep end every now and then I hope you’ll still stick around.

Your blog keeps a high standard that few out there have. You manage to be consistently informative, interesting, encouraging, and humorous in a world of mostly blah, blah, blah internet. Thanks and please keep it coming. The site renovations look great!

I just wanted to let you know that my old subscription to your RSS feed wasn’t working. I know you post daily, but I hadn’t seen a post in a while.
