I had a friend fairly new to recovery share an illuminating moment with me last week. He had been in one of the big box stores late in the evening when he ran into a couple he knew from his drug abusing past. Fairly well lit and sort of stumbling through the store like a pair of zombies, they were looking to upgrade their lockbox to a more secure personal safe for the storage of their illicit drugs.
