They say that God loves drunks and fools, well apparently so does mother nature… at least when it comes to feeding time.

THREE bears at a Ukrainian zoo tore a man "limb from limb" after he fell into their enclosure, local media reports. The 22-year-old man was drunk and trying to take close-up shots of the Siberian Brown bears at Mykolaev city zoo when he lost his footing, witnesses said, acording to Channel 5 television. ~ NEWS.com.au

Incidents like this make me truly wonder how the gene for alcoholism made it through the natural selection process. Maybe it’s a survival trait, a drunk’s mastery of the arts of deceit and deception. Obviously they had to rely on something, and I sincerely doubt it was the ability to outrun the tigers, alligators, and bears of our ancient past.

A suggestion for a new zoo sign: Do Not Feed Drunks to the Animals.
