TDA Salutes Stephen King

I’ve stayed up late tonight getting an early morning presentation ready so it pleases me greatly to have cause to double-tap one of my favorite recovering alcoholic/addicts and writer extraordinaire, Stephen King, for a TDA Salute. The first one goes out for supporting our troops by helping them get home for Christmas.

King and his wife, Tabitha, who live in Bangor, are paying $13,000 toward the cost of two bus trips so that members of the 3rd Battalion, 172nd Infantry Unit can travel from Camp Atterbury Fox News

I can remember (at least some parts) of a very long, alcohol-fueled cross country trip that I made while activated during the first Gulf War for a net stay of 2 days home for Christmas… so I know just how much Mr. King’s gift means and that it may even save lives. The second tap is for making this an easy post on an evening when I just had too much on my plate to do much research.

We agree on little in the world of politics and life Mr. King, but congrats on your recovery, for being one of the best when it comes to writing, and of course a heartfelt TDA Salute for supporting our troops!
